We're going to Hawaii for our honeymoon!

Here is our itinerary:

Friday, May 12: We have a 10:15pm United Airlines flight to San Franscico, arriving at 1:30am. We have a layover there overnight.

Saturday, May 13: We have a 9am Hawaiian Airlines flight to Honolulu, arriving at 11:30am. We are going on a Norweigen Cruise, leaving at 7pm tonight.

Sunday, May 14: Our cruise's first stop is Kalului, Maui, where we plan to do some nearby sightseeing and then take a shore excursion called Haleakala at sunset, where they will take us up to the crater on the island to see the sunset. The ship stays at this port overnight.

Monday, May 15: Our second day in Maui, we plan on doing a shore excursion called "Molokini and Turtles" which will take us to the tiny island of Molokini off the coast of Maui for snorkeling and maybe some sea turtles! In the evening, the ship leaves port for the big island.

Tuesday, May 16: We arrive in Hilo, Hawaii where we will be doing a shore excursion that will take us to the Volcanoes National Park to tour the volcanoes and maybe even see some active lava! The ship leaves this port in the evening.

Wednesday, May 17: (Ed's 31st Bday!) We arrive in Kona, Hawaii where we will be taking a shore excursion tour called, "Historic Kona" which will bring us to all the sights in town and taste some of the famous Kona Coffee. The ship leaves this port in the evening.

Thursday, May 18: The ship arrives in Nawiliwili, Kauai. We want to see the Waimea Canyon, however, most of the excursions on this island got poor reviews, so we're planning on renting a car and seeing the canyon and some other sights on our own. The ship stays here overnight, so we might do a twilight/sunset zipline tour through the jungles.

Friday, May 19: We're still in Nawiliwili, Kauai today so we want to either so mountain tubing or a kayak shore excursion, we haven't decided yet. In the late afternoon, the ship leaves port and sails past the Na'pali coastline before making its way back to Honolulu.

Saturday, May 20: The ship debarks at 7:30am and we are taking a shore excursion at 7:45am that will take us on a 7 hour tour of Pearl Harbor, USS Missouri, and surrounding sights. The excursion will then drop us off at the airport where we will take a 40 minute interisland flight to Maui and stay in Kihei.

Sunday, May 21: Today we are doing our own driving tour of the west side of Maui, with stops to several beaches and Lahaina.

Monday, May 22: Today we are taking a ferry boat to Lanai (a smaller island off the coast of Maui) where we want to rent a jeep and go off roading. That night we will come back and do a Luau in Lahaina.

Tuesday, May 23: Road to Hana, with all the stops in between including beaches, hikes, and waterfalls! We're also renting a cabin on the beach near Hana tonight.

Wednesday, May 24: Today we are continuing our drive to the Seven Sacred Pools and the South park of the island.

Thursday, May 25: Today we are touring the Haleakala Crater and Polipoli state park where they have redwood trees like in California.

Friday, May 26: Today we are exploring Kihei, its beaches, and snorkeling

Saturday, May 27: Today we are taking it easy, relaxing, and doing anything we missed or want to go back to from our Maui trip. We are taking a 10:15pm Alaskan Airlines flight to San Diego that arrives the next morning at 6:30am.

Sunday, May 28: We are taking a 10am Alaskan Airlines flight to Newark, arriving at 6pm. Long travel day for us and we're back to reality, all jet lagged and sad that our honeymoon is over. That is, IF we decide to come back! :-P
