Short Version: Ed proposed to me in my favoritest place in the world... Walt Disney World in front of the castle!

Long Version: Ed and I had been saying that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together since we first started dating. So I already knew he wanted to marry me, I just didn't know when and where he would pop the question. My first thoughts were that maybe he would do it on our anniversary while on a cruise with my parents and brother. But I also knew that was kinda soon. When it didn't happen it got pushed out of my mind. I wasn't in any rush to get married yet anyway so I wasn't one of those girls who pressured him at all.

Then one day, (I think it was in June) I needed to borrow his laptop (because it was the only computer we had) and he told me "DON'T LOOK AT THE OPENED TABS!"... so of course I looked because he told me not to so much. If he hadn't said anything, I wouldn't have even thought to look. I saw he was looking at rings and got a wave of emotions. I was excited, a little shocked to think I was old enough to get married, and curious to know when he would do it. I saw a proposal on FB where the guy proposed in Disney World and had never thought of that being the perfect spot. I had always thought of a special date spot or maybe FDU since that's where we met. But then I thought, Disney would be way cool. But I didn't know if he would get that idea so I wasn't set on it. Then as time passed I didn't think of it as much.

Then in August, we went to Disney World with his parents. I was so excited and happy to be on vacation that I completely forgot about the ring and the proposal. I was just living the moment and enjoying it. We went to Magic Kingdom for the whole day and I was the Kanias' tour guide so I was pretty focussed on that. Ed was acting normal all day and didn't give anything away. The only thing I thought was weird, was that he agreed to stay in the park from opening to close (9am-12 midnight) which I thought was really weird because usually he gets tired and can't do a full day. But I was super happy that he wanted to spend every moment we could in the park. His parents had left to go back to the hotel after dinner so it was just the 2 of us and it was really magical, romantic, and happy. We saw the fireworks and went on more rides.

Then as we were about to leave, I realized we hadn't stopped to get pictures of us in front of the castle yet so I asked Ed if he wanted to do that and he said ok. So we waited in line and had the photographer take pictures with our camera. She said she was having trouble getting the settings right so I told Ed to show her how to use it. She took some pictures but said the castle wasn't coming out good. I saw the line of people building up behind us and didn't want to make them wait so I told her whatever picture she got was fine. Then she said, "Don't worry, we have all night." When she finally said that the settings were all good on the camera, we posed together. Then out of the corner of my eye, I saw Ed's body getting lower. I wondered what he was doing, all the while I was still keeping my pose because she was still taking pictures. Then, still posing, I saw him on his knee and my first reaction was that maybe he was kneeling on one knee because he wanted me to sit on his knee as a pose. Then I heard, "Baby, can you look down?" and I realized he was PROPOSING!! Time went super fast at this point because I was so surprised, shocked, excited, still getting over my confusion of why he wasn't standing up with me to pose... My first thought was, "OMG! He's proposing!" Of course I said yes and was smiling from ear to ear. Everyone else had gathered around and started aweing and clapping for us. It was really magical and one of the best days and nights of my life. We got back to the hotel and got a "Just Engaged" pin from the front desk and were both so happy.
